We are asking for your help! We have not sent a newsletter for a long time but a significant intention has given me pause to sit down and get this out to you.
A wellness client of ours has been diagnosed with Leiomyosarcorma cancer. This is a rare form of cancer. She is also a rare human being with positive energy, thoughts, and determination. Although, I write this with a heavy heart, I too, know that she will come through this journey like no other.
Debbie Kurtis and her husband Dave head to NY to Sloan-Kettering, specialist for this type of cancer. Monday, June 9 th they will guided in how to best confront and defeat this cancer. This is where you our clients come in.
We ask for you to please say a prayer, send positive thoughts, light a candle, or whatever you do when you want to help another .
Debbie active at the YMCA. The YMCA in Charleroi is participating in the Relay for Life of Mon Valley to raise money for cancer. The event will be June 21 st, 2008. This is a 24-hour walk and if you’d like more information please go to: www.relayforlife.org/relay/fi ndevent Search by City: Monessen and then State: Pennsylvania. This event will be held in Monessen City Park. The YMCA’s team is “The Fighting Spirit”.
